We will always defend Netanyahu to the anti-Israel side because they hate him because he is a Jewish Zionist leader.
But that doesn't mean we have to candy coat him and make him into some flawless hero for the Jews when he has been notoriously soft in times when we needed strength.
When the pro Palestine side try to say that Israel is at fault for October 7th, I have to kind of cringe at the idea of denying it. If Netanyahu hadn't allowed the disengagement in 2005, there would be no Palestinian Gaza controlled by Hamas today.
It's an undeniable fact that he has repeatedly "kissed calves" with the subsequent effect of "sacrificing men". (Hosea 13:2)
In fact, this is part of my favorite comeback against the propalestine side when they call Bibi a monster: I make a point of saying that he has not been harsh enough and that Gaza deserves much worse after their actions.
